WPPI Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada
18/03/10 10:38
Well I have just returned from an amazing trip to
Las Vegas in the USA for the annual
WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers
International) convention. It is the
biggest of its type in the world that offers
training, support and inspiration to
wedding and portrait photographers.
Photographers and speakers from across the US and
the rest of the world meet and share ideas,
techniques, and business acumen across the
industry. The trade show is just enormous with so
many companies exhibiting some really exciting
products for the social photography market.
I was also lucky enough to get a couple of days to myself and visited Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon. Thanks to all those who shared their time away with me on the road trip - Steve, Jana, Mark and Dennis. I also met up with more fellow photographers for the convention, David DLM, Mark, Shane, David M, Charlie and Simon. Thank you all for helping me to have the best time....roll on next year!
Please enjoy this slideshow of some images taken whilst I was away....

Fine Art photography in Marrakesh, Morocco
31/12/09 09:58
Well I haven’t posted in a while as we have been
busy in the studio sorting orders out for our
portrait clients and enjoying some time off over
the Christmas period. Kirsty and I visted the
amazing city of Marrakesh
back in September and I have only just got
round to working on some of my favourite
images. This place is amazing and whilst the
people there don’t like to be photographed it
really is full of colour, culture and
interest. If you are thinking of going
yourselves, then I would suggest no longer
than 3-4 days unless you plan to visit other
parts of Morocco such as the Atlas
mountains. Anyway here are a few of my
favourite pictures...

I have just come back from the Master Photographers Association (MPA) National Awards Ceremony in Newcastle, and not only come away with 6 awards of merit, which are given for images considered to be of a superior standard, but also Winner of the Mario Acerboni 3 from 1 wedding category.
Entries came from all over the country and my images taken of Natalie and Jason’s Wedding at Audley End in Essex were selected as the winning images for the East Anglian region. I am delighted with the win and was presented with my trophy on Sunday night by Steve Walton, International Judge and Fellow of the MPA.

Everything went so well for my little sister! The weather was just gorgeous, the dress and flowers looked amazing, and the couple - just meant for each other. Even my mother who has never flown further than Italy was their for the celebration. The ceremony took place outside overlooking the grounds and was all very romantic. After the photography we all sat down to an amazing BBQ feast of food, followed by some very moving speeches, given by the Father of the Groom, Brother of the Bride, and of course the Groom and Best Man.
All the images are available to view from our on line shop NOW. If you were a guest and have any questions just call 01638 601571 or email me. We allow the couple to see all the pictures first - so please bookmark this page until then!

Kirsty, my brother and his wife and my dear mother!
The reason for going together was that my sister
got married on 5th April in Australia to a great
guy called Lewis. My sister now lives in the
beautiful city of Perth, Western Australia.
I will be posting a preview of wedding photographs (as the official photographer!) and also some great images of our travels!

Porto, Portugal
07/03/08 08:21
Kirsty and I have just returned back from our
annual training week. This year we went to Porto in
Portugal. There were about 18 in the group who are
all full time professional wedding and portrait
photographers. We take the opportunity to shoot
some images for ourselves that we don't normally
have time for at home, and also share business
ideas that range from photographic technique,
marketing and digital post production. It is also
an opportunity for us to recharge the batteries
ready for another busy wedding season.
