Natasha and Gary's wedding took place at St George's Church, just a few hundred yards from her parents house. Although the weather looked promising in the morning, it certainly tried our patience in the afternoon! We were determined that it would not spoil the pictures and I got some great shots with everyone's positive outlook. I am looking forward to showing them the rest of the pictures on their return from honeymoon.

Kate got ready at her home in Cambourne and travelled in style to the Hotel in an amazing white Ford Mustang. I love working at the Hotel Felix, Shara and the staff are always so friendly and professional and everybody always has a great time. A beautiful setting for a lovely wedding. Kate and John were so relaxed and looked so happy together - we wish them all the very best for the future and can't wait for them to see all the photos!

St Peter's was probably the biggest and most beautiful church I have seen for a small village. Even though the weather was quite changeable with some fairly hefty showers, after the service we were blessed with a blue sky for the drinks reception, which took place in the grounds of their parents house near the church. The wedding breakfast and evening reception was held in a marquee that looked stunning. The day was professionally managed by Vanessa of Rocks and Frocks -

Sharon's bridal preparations at her parents house in Cambridge went well, even if she was running a little behind schedule! She was fortunate enough to have some very helpful bridesmaids and a calm Mum to help her get ready. Paul was fairly calm at the other end, and the wedding went smoothly without a hitch! Wow what a hot day - it must have been the hottest wedding so far this year. Hayley got ready at her parents house in Cherry Hinton, Cambridge before travelling to the St Andrews Church nearby. They arrived at the reception to take a punt on the River Cam to the back of the hotel. They are such a lovely couple and I can't wait for them to see the photos!

Congratulations to Nicola and Gary on their wedding at Mallory Court, near Leamington Spa.

Nicola looked absolutely amazing in her Ian Stewart dress, and surprised all the guests and especially her new husband, Gary, who all thought that she would be wearing a lighter more classical colour!

It seemed like everything was going on this weekend - the Royal Show, Grand Prix and Wimbledon finals! It was a real pleasure to attend Nicola and Gary's wedding - the venue was a photographers dream - so many great places to take creative pictures. The weather stayed good for us, so the happy couple were able to be married outside in the Gazebo in the picturesque grounds of this lovely venue. Many of Mélanie's family came over from France for the wedding, and even managed to get me speaking some French again - I haven't done that since I was at school! I love working at this hotel - it has so much to offer - great light in the bedrooms, interesting abstract art inside, and a mixture of old and new outside.

I just can not believe how organised this lovely couple are! Jade and Danny were both ready with loads of time to spare, giving us the opportunity to have some time for the pictures without having to rush. The weather was very kind to us, keeping dry and bright all day, and the hotel had some lovely little areas for some great shots of the happy couple.....

The day started so wet that I brought three umbrellas, raincoats and my wife, Kirsty, to help on Saturday. It had forecast rain all day but I can not believe how lucky we were. The wedding was at 12.30pm and the rain stopped at about 12pm, but a very important guest got lost and so the ceremony was delayed by 25 minutes! I wouldn't have liked to be in Simons shoes - although he was told that it wasn't Clare holding up the proceedings.

Anyway the rain stayed away for the family photos, and we made our way to Longstowe. I was able to get some great shots of the newlyweds after the guests made their way to the marquee.

It was a little surreal being at Yaxley Hall with a camera as this was where I got married last year. Everything was perfect - Hilary and Mark make such a wonderful couple, and even the weather was nice to everybody. The champagne flowed nicely after the ceremony, whilst the children played and we took the photographs.

The day started at the Belfry Hotel in Cambourne, where at 12.26 there was a fly pass of the Battle of Britain that was on its way to the Queens birthday celebration. After Catherine's preparations we went on to the beautiful church at Longstowe village. With a full Guard of Honour, Catherine made a grand entrance to a very memorable service. After the service the happy couple walked down to their drinks reception which was effortlessly hosted by Mr and Mrs Bevan. A wonderful meal was served and the speeches were made bewteen each course - a really great way of breaking up what can often be quite drawn out. Everyone had a great time and the evening saw everyone Kayleigh (sp?) dancing... a truly spectacular day!

Congratulations to Anna and Nik on their wedding day at Audley End House in Essex on Saturday.

We were so lucky with the weather for Anna and Nik's day, even though we were all a bit wind swept, and least we didn't have the rain like Sunday! Audley End House is such an amazing setting for a wedding, and even Anna turned the cricketers heads! The day went so smoothly and a great time was had by everyone -

Congratulations to Jo and David on their wedding at Quy Mill, near Cambridge on Friday.

During an intimate civil ceremony at this little hotel just outside Cambridge Jo and David were married on a lovely warm day. After arriving back from the hairdressers a little later than planned Jo was assisted into her dress by a very proud mum and, probably one of the most helpful bridesmaids I have every seen on wedding day. Usually bridesmaids are all too concerned about themselves to worry about the bride - but not Donna - she was at Jo's service all day!

Being a civil ceremony all at one venue make sit easier fro me to dart around and get all the important photos, without having to worry too much about potential traffic and parking problems! Cass was assisted by her very friendly bridesmaids and little niece Ursula who was a real poser for the camera! The weather was also warm and sunny and I think most of Cambridge was out and about, especially those fooling about on the river...

On a very hot day, a small crowd many of which were little ones gathered to celebrate Sade and John's special day. Sade's Nigerian roots meant that her father wore traditional dress for the day, and many of her other relations wore such colourful clothes. Their little daughter Lara looked very cute in her special dress. The day went without a hitch and I think everyone enjoyed the sunshine...

What a fabulous way to start the bank holiday weekend! A very grand church in Cambridge was the venue for the ceremony, and I am glad my wife was available to drive for me as we all know how bad the parking is in Cambridge. Jemma arrived with plenty of time to spare, and boy was Paul pleased to see her. After a de tour due to a big accident on the A14 I eventually got to Swynford Paddocks, a fantastic venue in Six Mile Bottom. I love working here as the staff are great and Neil does such a fab job for every couple that celebrate their wedding here.

Anyway I got some awesome pictures of Jemma & Paul in the grounds, and also got some really nice portraits of all the guests - so check out your photos when they are all online from 16th May

Well the weather was gorgeous, as was the setting at Landwade Church, and their home nearby. As Jo walked down the aisle with her son Jess, I wondered whether Justin would have any fingernails left! Yes Jo was a little late but 15 minutes always seems like an ice age when you are the Groom. Anyway the rest of the day was so relaxed and informal with a long champagne reception where everyone chatted and enjoyed the evening sunshine. Although the weather was unusually cold on Saturday, the wedding was really buzzing and everyone had a great time. The church was so pretty and just big enough for all the guests! After the bad weather we had the week before, we really were lucky in Suffolk at the weekend. Although not very warm, we were blessed with a dry and overcast day, which actually makes it easier for better pictures, as you do not have to worry about all those shadows and squinty eyes! It has been a while since I have been to Haughley Park Barn, and what a place it is. Ellie kindly showed me round in the morning (sorry for surprising you!) and kindly let us use the grounds nearer the house for pictures.

Well I had a great time at Jo and Jason's wedding on Valentines Day. The weather was a bit chilly after all the sunny days we had, but everyone knows that an overcast day is usually better for photography. Jo surprised Jason with a Classic car for the ride back to the reception, although she was a bit worred when it had not arrived at the house after I left. After seeing it on my way to Cambridge I gave her a call just to re assure her!

We got some awesome pictures around the entrance to Kings School grounds where she went to school. We then walked along Pea's Hill to the river and finally to Peacocks, where they had the reception.

Amazing News!

There was recently a competition held by the MPA (Master Photographers Association) and You and Your Wedding magazine to obtain the best most eye-catching image for the front cover of their annual professional wedding photography supplement.

I am delighted to have won such a fantastic opportunity. There was lots of entries, by many of the leading wedding photographers in the country. To have work featured within publications like this is prestigious, but to have the front cover is for most photographers, unheard of!

As soon as I get the copy of the magazine, I will post on the site....
