Emily and James's Wedding in Thriplow and Sheene Mill Cambridgeshire

Congratulations to Emily and James on their wedding day on Saturday 10th September 2011. The ceremony took place at the Church in Thriplow Cambridgeshire where James grew up. His parents still live in the village and I photographed his sister's wedding in the same Church. The reception took place where I grew up in Melbourn... The Sheene Mill is a beautiful quintessential hotel with loads of character. Set in very pretty surroundings it is the perfect wedding venue in Cambridgeshire for intimate weddings.

I met up with James and the boys at his parents house in Thriplow where they were enjoying the Rugby, shame I had to interrupt them for photos! I then headed over to Sheene Mill where Emily was getting ready with her bridesmaids. Emily wore a stunning Ian Stewart wedding dress and she looked absolutely amazing. She was then driven in style by Paul of Runhams Cars in a beautiful Bentley to the church. The ceremony was lovely, all you could see was beaming smiles from both Emily and James! After a few family photographs at the church we went back to Sheene Mill for the drinks and dinner reception. Luckily the weather held for us to do some wedding photographs of the happy couple in the beautiful gardens. Enjoy looking through the highlights....

The day started with the boys at Sheene Mill. Tony had two best men, his brother and best mate who was also called Tony! After some cool shots here, I went on to Deborah’s parents house in Royston for her preparations. Her bridesmaids were particularly attentive and helpful, and help to make Deborah look stunning! Her dress was just amazing, and unique. Due to the fantastic weather we had on Sunday, they had the ceremony outside as planned which makes it that much easier for photography. After the family shots we did some fab shots of the happy couple within the grounds... Enjoy the preview!
