Hi, I am Mark and I have been a full time photographer since 1994. I started out working for an established studio in Cambridge where I trained in portrait, wedding and commercial photography. I started off as "tea boy" and gradually earned my stripes in the industry over about 10 years. After gaining qualifications in 1998 I have since won numerous accolades for my work which I am hugely proud of.
In June 2005 I launched Ashworth Photography initially with weddings and soon into portraits and commercial. We are based in Burwell, near Cambridge where I operate from a fantastic spacious studio, and now concentrate on family, boudoir and corporate work.
I live and work with my wife Kirsty and have two beautiful children, Sammy and Evie. I feel very lucky to work closely with them all and love spending time with them. The kids feature fairly often throughout this site - so see if you can spot them!
I truly love what I do and love that I can earn my living from it. I can't wait to meet you, whether for a family shoot, boudoir session or perhaps some commercial photography.

PTO (Photo Training Overseas) Cyprus Wedding/Portrait winner and the OVERALL winner
This convention is a very common event on the pro photographers calendar. Every year a training event is held at a fabulous European location for a week. Over 250 photographers from across the country gather for seminars and tuition.
FUJIFILM Professional – Distinction Award
One of ONLY 4 images to be selected from over 5000 entries from professional photographers across the UK. A particularly high accolade (envied by many photographers).
