How long should I allow for the session?
We always allow about an hour for your photography session. It is essential that enough time is available even though the photography itself may only last 30 minutes. This gives enough time to discuss your requirements, and get everybody relaxed before turning on the camera!

What equipment do you use?
We use state-of-the-art professional Canon EOS 5D Mk3 digital cameras and a range of high quality Canon professional L lenses. The image quality is outstanding.

How do you supply our photographs?
Your beautiful images are carefully prepared using the latest technology and retouching techniques. They are optimised for the size you have ordered, carefully manufactured and ready to hang in your home. There are a variety of finishes, from Frames, Canvases and albums.

How many pictures are taken during the session?
This varies depending on the number of people in the shoot. After removing test shots, duplicates and missed expressions we will show you the best photographs. Individuals and couples should expect around 30-40 images. Families about 60.

Who has copyright of the images?
The copyright remains with Mark Ashworth.
When do we see the pictures?
We allow plenty of time for you to view and order right after your shoot. However if you are local and have toddlers we may recommend a separate viewing appointment. Any promotional vouchers require viewing the same day. Please ask for more details.

What to wear?
Clothing is really important for good portraits. When you arrange your appointment we will send you a detailed guide.

Do you keep the photographs on file?
Of course. We suggest that your order what you really want at your viewing session as anything ordered later may incur a set up fee. We only retain purchased images from promotional sessions.

Do you offer a product that is a bit different?
Yes. We have some really fantastic modern products, from Edge Prints to Acrylic blocks. If you prefer we can frame your images traditionally using a complimentary range of frames. The full range is on display in our studio.

When and how can I pay for my order?
As your order is bespoke and the pictures printed especially for you, we request that payment is made with your order. We accept payment by most major credit and bank cards. We may be able to offer a payment plan, please ask for more details.
